DyTAM: Accelerating Wind Turbine Inspections with Dynamic UAV Trajectory Adaptation
Energies, Vol. 18, No. 7, pp. 1823
Abstract
This work introduces the Dynamic Trajectory Adaptation Method (DyTAM), a novel approach for automated wind turbine inspections using UAVs. The system employs real-time image segmentation to identify key turbine components and dynamically computes blade pitch angles, classifying them into acute, vertical, and horizontal tilts. Specialized trajectory models are tailored for each component type.
